Yeah they are bots. Somehow they're getting through the picture verification and the fact that bots can't see any of the forums according to the permissions.
I'll have to set up recaptcha soon - I have to sign up at their site. For now, I've made the authentication Q&A with DSB-specific q's and a's, so hopefully that will make it harder.

Ok, recaptcha is now in place. Hopefully this helps. In the meantime, deleting 100 bots :/

If this continues, then because we are so few people, just make the setting where you will have to confirm everyone's registration.

Btw, Starpo was a mod at the old forums as well. Not like this place is very busy but might help to clean up the spam if it isn't fixed yet.
